Shai Waxman Abramson, Director of Israel Strategy & Programming

For close to two decades, Shai has served as the Israel representative of The Asper Foundation and has provided strategic planning and public relations services to a wide number of additional donors and NGOs in her capacity as Founder of Shai Abramson Strategic Consulting Ltd. (SASC). She is best known for her ability to develop inspiring giving strategies that deliver bottom-line results and for building philanthropic partnerships that bring together donors, the government and NGOs for maximum impact. Prior to launching SASC, Shai headed the Saban Family Foundation in Los Angeles. Before entering the world of philanthropy, she was the Founder and Director of Presentatzia, an Israel-based public relations/marcom firm representing investment banking firms, NASDAQ companies and much of the Israeli defense industry. She has served on the Executive Board of the Jewish Funders Network and has held numerous advisory positions for non-profits in Israel and Los Angeles. She attended Brandeis University and the University of California, Berkeley.
